Therapeutic approaches
I believe that we all have the capacity to connect with an inner sense of peace, purpose, trust, and direction. These are the frameworks I use to help people understand and navigate the challenging thoughts, emotions and sensations that seem to get in the way:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Builds resilience and flexibility by developing the "mental muscles" of cognitive defusion, present moment awareness, and an attitude of openness and equanimity.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
The "gold standard" of OCD treatment. ERP breaks the OCD cycle by incrementally teaching our brain that it is safe to engage with OCD fears.
Inference Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (iCBT)
Another evidence-based treatment for OCD, iCBT focuses on building awareness for how OCD stems from a single doubt. It teaches us how to reground in the here and now - and reconnect with certainty about OCD fears.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
An experiential and exposure-based therapy that uses bilateral stimulation to "unlock" and resolve unprocessed traumatic memory and sensation.
